Support Street-Connected Youth
At Intwari Foundation, we believe every youth deserves the chance to dream, learn, and build a better future — no matter their background.
Our program specifically supports adolescent boys and girls who have lived on the streets, facing extreme hardship and vulnerability.
We focus on:
- Providing Comprehensive Vocational and Life-Skills Training:
Youth receive technical skills (like carpentry, tailoring, mechanics, ICT, agriculture) and life-skills (such as communication, teamwork, financial literacy, and emotional resilience).
This well-rounded training ensures they are not only job-ready but also prepared to thrive personally and socially. - Building Pathways to Decent Employment:
Our goal is to bridge the gap between street life and formal employment.
We equip youth with marketable skills that meet local and national labor demands, leading to stable jobs with fair salaries or the ability to launch small businesses. - Mentorship and Counseling:
Many street-connected youth have faced trauma and rejection.
Our program provides mentorship, counseling, and emotional support to help rebuild their self-esteem and sense of purpose.
